Mattia STEFANO is  a Researcher at the Department of Physical Sciences and Technologies of Matter – CNR.
He received the Master’s Degree in Physics from the Department of Physics – University of Calabria and the Ph.D. in Science and Engineering for Human and the Environment – Bioengineering from Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.
Mattia Stefano’s research interests are mainly in the field of computational neuroengineering and computational neuroscience. During my Ph.D. I used computational modelling to study the nerve-electrode interaction in electric nerve stimulation in the research framework of upper limb prosthetics for sensory feedback restoring. My research activities include the use of mathematical models to study the neuronal network dynamics in healthy and diseased conditions.
