Team

Martina Nicoletti is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Campus Bio-Medico University, in the Non-Linear Physics and Mathematical Modeling research unit. She is also an affiliated researcher at the Center for Life Nano and Neuro Science (CLN2S@Sapienza) of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). She received a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Padua and a Ph.D. in Science and Engineering for Human and the Environment from Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.

Martina Nicoletti’s research activity is focused on the field of single-cell modeling in different organisms. During her Ph.D. she focused on modeling electrical and calcium responses of the nematode C.elegans. In her first post-doc at CLN2S@Sapienza-IIT, she worked with experimental calcium imaging recordings on C.elegans to investigate the polymodality of the AWC sensory responses. Since 2023, she has been involved in the MUQUABIS project (RIA GA n. 10107054) working on modeling cardiac magnetic fields in health and disease.
